Terms and Conditions
To enter, individuals are required to scan the QR code found on the packaging of their 2026 Design-yer Nose and upload a photo of their Red Nose designs to the form on the Comic Relief webpage which can be found here here.
Submissions will open at 00:01 on 03 February 2026 (GMT) and close at 23:59 on 20 March 2026 (GMT) (Entry Period). Entries received after the Entry Period will not be entered for potential display.
To submit your designs, you (or, for any entrant under 18 years old, their parent or guardian) (You) must register with Your name, email address (the first name of Your child/dependant, if applicable), your region and age range and upload a photo of the designed nose.
By uploading your designed Design-yer Nose (“Nose Design”) on this page, You acknowledge you have read and confirm your agreement to the following terms:
You are over 18 years old. All entrants under the age of 18 must have the permission of their parent or guardian to enter and all entries must be submitted by the entrants’ parent or guardian.
You are the original creator (the “Creator”) of the Nose Design you upload or, where the Creator is under the age of 18, you are the parent or guardian of the Creator.
Entries should be of a Nose Design only. It does not show any identifiable feature of any person, or any product, trademark, or copyrighted property of any other person or business. Any photo containing identifiable information – including faces or other personal features – will not be uploaded or displayed.
The Nose Design does not: contain material that violates or infringes another’s rights, including without limitation, privacy, publicity or intellectual property rights infringement; include any copyrighted characters, logos or designs belonging to others; contain material that is inappropriate, indecent, obscene, hateful, tortious, defamatory, slanderous or libelous; contain material that promotes bigotry, racism, hatred or harm against any group or individual or promotes discrimination based on race, gender, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age; or disparage Comic Relief.
Submission and Approval:
Comic Relief has sole discretion to decide which Nose Designs will be displayed and offers no guarantee that your Nose Design will be displayed for any of the Uses (set out in paragraph 6 below).
Comic Relief may (at their sole discretion) crop or edit an entry to remove any identifiable information or any material deemed inappropriate or unsuitable to display for any reason.
Once approved and selected, your Nose Design and the first name of the Creator may (at Comic Relief’s discretion) be used and displayed as follows (together the “Uses”):
On the Comic Relief website (Hooter Hall of Fame) between 3 February 2026 and 1st March 2027.
On the BBC on the Red Nose Day Night of Television event on 20 March 2026.
On screens in the Printworks in Manchester between 17 February & 18 February 2026.
You grant (and, as a parent or guardian of a Creator, grant on their behalf) all rights, licences and permissions necessary to Comic Relief, Printworks and/or the BBC (or any sub-contractors of these entities) for them to use, modify, reproduce, display and broadcast the Nose Design for the Uses above and in accordance with these terms.
Our lawful basis for processing any personal data you provide us with when submitting a Nose Design is that it is in our legitimate interests (and we don’t believe this unreasonably impacts on Your rights or freedoms). To the extent permitted by law, Comic Relief will not, under any circumstances, be liable to compensate a participant for any loss, damage, or disappointment caused by participation or by the use, non-use or display of any design. Comic Relief and their sub-contractors, subsidiaries and/or agencies cannot accept any responsibility whatsoever for any technical failure or malfunction or any other problem with any website, system, server, provider or otherwise which may result in any entry not being properly received or the display of Nose Designs not being possible.
Comic Relief may amend these terms from time to time and will make such changes by amending them here. These terms will be governed by the laws of England and Wales and entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
